Try This At Home: Liquid Layers

In our last Try This At Home video we looked at the buoyancy of aluminum in different shapes and talked about how it compares to density. In this video, we will be experimenting with liquids to see if we can make layers. If you try this at home you can try other liquids too including different types of oil, corn syrup or maple syrup, and rubbing alcohol. You can even make solutions with water and different amounts of salt (adding salt will increase the density).
